Editorial policy

Synteria Drive Lab publishes practical decision guides for drivers comparing energy costs and charging routines. Our goal is to explain what a calculation can show, what it cannot show, and how a reader can check the inputs.

Source selection

We prefer primary sources, including government agencies, utility rate schedules, manufacturer documents, and published vehicle labels. When local or individual circumstances control the answer, we tell readers to use their own bill, quote, or written document instead of a generic average.

Separation of fact and assumption

We label calculations as estimates. Defaults are examples, not claims about every driver. Articles distinguish directly sourced facts from planning assumptions and from editorial judgment.

Corrections and updates

Pages are reviewed when a source changes, a reader reports an issue, or an explanation becomes unclear. Corrections are made as soon as practical, and this policy or page date is updated when a material revision is published.

Advertising and commercial relationships

Advertising, when present, does not determine a formula, source selection, or conclusion. We do not sell vehicles or charging equipment. Any future sponsored material or affiliate relationship will be clearly identified near the relevant content.
